Governance in Africa – Are we making progress?

Moeletsi Mbeki is the author of “Architects of Poverty: Why African Capitalism Needs Changing”. He is Deputy Chairman of the South African Institute for International Affairs, an independent think tank based at the University of the Witwatersrand, and is a political analyst for Nedcor Bank.  He is a member of the executive council of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) which is based in London.

Having triggered a lively debate about governance, ethics and moral values in African governance processes, and about his recommendations on economic policies, Moeletsi Mbeki will share insights and views in the context of a lively lunch debate.

Moeletsi Mbeki will be introduced by Prof. Dr. Peter Eigen.
